The wheels can be used on stationary machines, such as chop saws and rail saws or on portable machines, such as right angle grinders, petrol saws etc.

Fixed cut off wheels

Norton offers a range of cut-off wheels (reinforced and non-reinforced) for use on fixed machines such as chop saws, rail cutting machines or stationary machines. Available in different diameters from Large Diameter Cut-Off wheels (LDCO) to 900mm, to cut-off wheels for chop saws from 300mm. Reinforced cut-off wheels are commonly used in the foundry industry on all steel types as well as in applications in the aerospace, automotive and rail markets. Non-reinforced-cut off wheels are often found in saw sharpening, tool cut-off, laboratory cut-off for metallographic analyses and industrial (cable) cut-off applications.
