International Hardware Fair 2016 Round-up

Norton’s latest innovations well received at the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Germany in March 2016.

The fair was a positive start to 2016 and the perfect launch platform for Norton Quantum3, the latest advance in grinding wheel technology specifically developed to address the needs of the metal fabrication and hardware industries for more aggressive, comfortable and faster grinding wheels.

Visitors to the stand were able to see the product in action thanks to the demonstration booth where guests could see for themselves how the proprietary ceramic grain technology, coupled with a newly engineered bond system provided three major benefits for the end user:

1) Better comfort with less vibration for reduced hand fatigue

2) Less grinding time thanks to sharp ceramic grain for the highest metal removal

3) Less downtime and waste, where longer wheel life means fewer wheels used during the grinding process.

In addition, live demonstrations were also held showcasing Norton’s performance solutions approach which unites the three main uses of an angle grinder: cutting, grinding and blending which triggered a lively exchange with trade visitors.

Guests were also able to see a snapshot of Norton's leading DIY range; Norton Expert for hand and machine sanding and a sample of abrasives and polishing solutions for the automotive aftermarket.

Finally, Norton Clipper diamond blades and drilling equipment for the habitat market were exhibited which included the latest innovations and trade favourites Norton 4x4 Explorer + and Duo Extreme+.

Great feedback received from customers, vistors and passers by throughout the three days made the International Hardware Fair 2016 a success. See you in 2018!
