#NortonChallenge Competition Winners

This summer saw the launch of the #NortonChallenge competition on Norton’s Facebook page - @nortonabrasivesuk. Entrants were able to submit images and videos of a project they had created from using any of Norton’s products.

The prizes up for grabs were:

– 1st Prize - 50" TV

– 2nd Prize - A top-of-the-range DeWalt Powertool

– 3rd Prize - £150 Red Letter Day Voucher

We had an overwhelming response and a wide variety of entries, which ranged from stainless steel mixing pots for a pharmaceutical company, classic car restorations, food industry chute, stainless steel dragon eggs, mirror polished stainless handrails and more. You can view the full list of entries on our Facebook page.  The competition demonstrated a wide range of talent and the different types of Norton Abrasives that had been used to help them create their products. The types of abrasives that were used included Norton Cyclonic Multi-Air, Rapid Blend discs, Norton belts, Blaze Rapid Strip, Vortex Rapid Blend, Norton sanding products, Norton flap wheels, Norton ultra fine cutting discs and more.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the competition!

First prize went to Mark Lowery who created a steampunk dog and used a range of Norton products for finishing and deburring. Second prize went to David Taylor and the third prize went to Lee Horton for creating a metal rose.
