Norton Clipper Handheld Cut-Off Saws - Press Release

New handheld cut-off saws from Norton Clipper

Norton Clipper offers a range of light-weight handheld cut-off saws.

The range of machines features an electronic carburettor which eliminates the hassle of a choke and makes a stress-free start of the powerful 4kW/5,4HP engine. 4 models are available, in 300 or 350 mm blade diameter, and using standard fuel + oil mix or fitted with the first ever iLube® automatic lubrication system, which controls the mix of oil and fuel electronically. No more pre-mixing is required, preventing mixing errors and damages to the engine. Purchasing oil and fuel separately is also much cheaper than pre-mix.

The patented twin-pipe interceptors create an air pulsation that draws fresh air in while pushing hot air away from the engine and releasing it out of the back to keep the saw running cool and reduce debris being trapped in the filter. The external rocker wheel vibrates the filter to further help release debris. This system extends filter life for less cleaning/replacement.

A five-point vibration reduction system, long-life transmission V-belt and a semi-automatic belt tensioning system for enhanced user experience, together with a compact and light-weight ergonomic design. The magnesium blade guard is stronger and lighter than usual aluminium blade guards found on the market.
