Saint-Gobain Abrasives Indonesia has carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event called “WE CARE - WE SHARE” in order to support the community for fighting against COVID-19 on 16 - 20 November 2020.
We distributed face masks and essentials such as sanitation kits and survival packs to our employees and affected families. For the local community, we donated face masks to the socially vulnerable and donated air purifiers to the local Community Health Center. Almost 50,000 face masks have been distributed to employees and the community as face masks are extremely effective in reducing the spread of the virus.
Additionally, a webinar “Smart Ways to stay productive during Covid-19 Pandemic” has been conducted for our employees to build awareness and discipline in following the health & safety protocol of COVID-19.
This campaign helps to strengthen our bond with our employees as well as with the surrounding community, in a meaningful way.
