Guida passo passo alla sverniciatura e alla preparazione delle superfici per autoveicoli
In this video we show you how to repair a damaged car panel using the Norton Cyclonic® sanding system. Norton Cyclonic is an 'all-in-one' solution for stripping to finishing with colour coded abrasives for each stage of the repair process. The unique hole pattern is based on the same science as cyclone formation, for the most powerful air movement. As such, Norton Cyclonic, helps to increase dust extraction and improves productivity compared to conventional multi-hole sanding discs. Ceramic grains are sharper, cut cooler and wear more evenly, for a uniform scratch pattern on paint, primer, clear coat, aluminium and composites. The with Norton's anti-clog formula, the sandpaper works for much longer. STEP 1 - Paint stripping Strip the top paint layers over the defect or scratch using the green disc. The coarse abrasive cuts through the paint with ease. Apply filler to the area and allow to dry. STEP 2 - Filler levelling Use the red Cyclonic disc to sand and level the dried filler so it's smooth and flat. Check for imperfections using the Norton Defect Guide Coat, which will highlight any flaws or spots that require additional sanding. STEP 3 - Filler finishing Continue once more with the red disc for final smoothing prior to painting. STEP 4 - Finishing hard to reach areas (optional step) For curves and contours, the salmon discs have a foam backing which follows the contours of the surface, ensuring every part of the area is prepared for painting. Then all that's left to do is mask the car, and enter the spray booth! Norton Cyclonic is revolutionising automotive sanding. Want to know more?
