Weld removal on carbon steel

The BlazeX F970 fibre discs have been developed with carbon steel in mind, thanks to the micro-fracturing grain, which provides a better cut rate, and longer life when compared to blended ceramic alumina discs.

BlazeX benefits:

• The improved ceramic alumina micro-fracturing grain constantly exposes sharper grain edges to significantly increase cut rate and life
• Provides an aggressive, yet cool cut, preventing work-piece damage
• Produces less heat when grinding
• Tear resistant – heavier fibre backing for additional strength in tough applications, providing a better face for material removal
• The net effect is a product with a long life, requiring fewer changeovers and ultimately resulting in less labour time
• Enhanced operator control in stock removal processes including grinding, deburring, blending and other metal preparation applications
• Product details are engraved on the back of the disc for easy product identification
• Disc is laser cut to ensure accuracy

Sizes available

Norton BlazeX fibre discs are available in three sizes consisting of 115mm, 125mm and 180mm.
