THE NORTON CLIPPER SANDING RANGE GETS A REVAMP!

In a world where first impressions matter, we’ve made a significant update to our packaging for the Norton Clipper coated range of hand and machine abrasives across EMEA. Not only that, but the range has also been expanded to offer a wider choice of products to builders and tradespeople from all corners of the building and construction industry. 

The new designs are a striking departure from the old, featuring vibrant colours, eye-catching application images, and clear, concise information.  One of the most significant improvements in the new packaging is the clear emphasis on the application. Each product is now accompanied by informative images that demonstrate the specific uses and benefits, making it easier for customers to select the right tool for the job. Whether it's for smoothing rough surfaces, refinishing wood, or tackling intricate projects, the packaging now guides consumers towards the perfect solution.

SUPPORTING CUSTOMER CENTRICITY 

To strengthen our commitment to offering our customers a ‘best-in-class’ range, we will be replacing the old Norton Clipper range of hand and machine abrasives with:  

1. A selection of new abrasive shapes to optimize in-store linear meter space and support their profitability. 

2. A more sustainable packaging solution, working with generic packaging design to reduce our cardboard consumption. 

3. An updated packaging design featuring real-life images and a new color-coding device making it clearer and easier to identify the right product for end user needs, saving time during the purchase process.

4. A modernised Norton Clipper portfolio which offers a stronger coated abrasive solution.

RANGE EXPANSION & END-USER APPROACH

To provide greater choice, meet more varied customer needs, and offer a more comprehensive portfolio, the range has been expanded to offer additional grits and shapes as well as new collection of sponges, rolls, and non-wovens. What’s more, we’re delighted to add to the range a brand-new drywall sander and sanding discs designed with a special hole pattern for maximum dust extraction and heavy industrial hook and loop backing for the strongest fixing to the sanding plate. 

The new range will be introduced across EMEA from February 2024.
