Global abrasives manufacturer Norton has upgraded its successful range for aluminium and non-ferrous metal applications. The extended range includes well-known cutting discs and grinding wheels complemented by new mesh flap discs for use on right angle grinders.
Featuring the specially developed new bond, which is much more loading-resistant, combined with unique aluminium oxide grains, the new Norton ALU cutting and grinding discs offer up to 30% higher performance than our previous aluminium range. Thanks to the specially developed formulation, the tools deliver a fast, easy and free cut without clogging, even on soft materials.
A newcomer to the range is Norton Alu Mesh Flap Disc. Designed for outstanding metal removal rates, the disc features an open mesh structure that reduces heat generation during use on an angle grinder for better part quality and minimal material loss. These tools are ideal for corrosion or paint removal on sheet metal and light-gauge sections.
