  • Continue to create the LCA to reach 100% by 2030 enabling us to communicate externally the related Environmental Product Declaration:
  • Achieved: Norton Quantum Prime, Cutting & Grinding discs , Diamond blades, Coated abrasive jumbo's, Comparative scarfing/Norton BZZ
  • WIP: Main product lines in Bonded Abrasives vitrified and organic, Super Abrasives vitrified, Coated Abrasives conversion
  • Energy efficient abrasives, REACH review, packaging reduction / biodegradable
  • Wasterials / secondary raw materials (start using the waste of other industries)

It is a way to promote and increase the number of initiatives on recycling our products

  • Recycling routes implementation in progress for Vitrified and Organic Precision grinding wheels
  • Recycling waste via reuse:
    • Super Abrasives plated reuse of steel cores (E.g. Norton Winter Spring X grinding)
    • Super Abrasives vitrified recoat extension (reuse steel cores)
  • Plastic reduction: E.g. switching from plastic to paper, reducing the thickness of plastic film, move to biodegradable plastics,…

It is a way to listen actively and reinforce our customer intimacy through common purposes and projects
