How to remove a weld with the Norton abrasives kit for angle grinders

From cutting and grinding to cleaning and finishing, the Norton kit has everything you need for metal working in auto body repair.
In this video we show you how to take off a weld and blend out the surface to create a smooth finish ready for the next step.
STEP 1 First, use the Norton Blaze SpeedLokTM discs to remove the weld and grind it down level with the metal surface. At 75mm the discs are small enough to work on isolated areas and curves in the metal effectively. Grits 36, 60 and 80 are included in the kit so you can select the grade that works best for your application.
STEP 2 Next, remove any imperfections on the surface using the Norton Vortex RapidBlend. This non-woven disc is perfect for blending out the area to a smooth finish thanks to the performance engineered grain which gives a real quality finish.
STEP 3 Refine the finish further by using the BearTex High Strength disc. Another non-woven gem, this disc conforms to the surface, cleaning up any scratches left over from the previous steps, ready for further polishing or paint preparation.

There's nothing you can't do on metal and paint in car body repair processes with this kit. It contains six different types of abrasives, as well as back-up pads and safety glasses. You even get the bag too! The only piece not included is the machine. So, from cutting and grinding to cleaning, removing rust, deburring and imparting a smooth finish, look no further than Norton.
