Foundry
Gate Removal
Removing casting gates and cutting stock to length is still a manual practice for many manufacturers; it doesn’t have to be. Norton engineers are successfully implementing automated solutions that minimize unrecoverable swarf and deliver significant cost and time savings. Learn more about the suite of products available, whether you’re ready for automation today or are looking to optimize your manual gate removal.
Engine
Grinding from Solid to Surface Finish
While grinding is already the standard best practice for surface finishing, new Norton abrasive technologies are making high MRR achievable to manufacture precise profiles of high nickel alloy, titanium aluminide, and ceramic parts at tighter tolerances, reduced cycle times, and increased throughputs compared to machining.
Fuselage
