With a porous VBEP vitrified bond, this segment increases chip clearance and maximizes coolant flow while reducing loading for quality results. Cooler cuts make it an ideal choice for heat-sensitive jobs. It is particularly suited for precision stock removal and vertical spindle surface grinding on many materials, including 400-series stainless, hard and soft carbon steels, tool steels, aluminum, cast iron and gray iron.
