RAG – Blending & Refining
Right Angle Grinder (RAG) – Blending & Refining
Blending and refining is one of the key steps in metal fabrication and manufacturing processes. This follows on from the stock removal step as you will need to blend and refine the scratches which unavoidably result from removing weld seams and excess material. Surface blending and refining is vital for preparing the work-piece for paint or powder coating or finishing operations if applicable.
Save Time and Money
Norton Abrasives offers the very best in innovative metal fabrication solutions. Our range of products for blending and refining are ergonomic, designed for efficiency, comfort and ease of use, whilst providing a uniform finishing on stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium. The Norton Vortex surface conditioning products use high-performance engineered proprietary Vortex grain; the application of different levels of pressure allows the operator to blend & refine in 1 step, reducing the need to use a variety of discs, so saving time and money.
Norton proprietary Clean Bond technology provides a smear free finish, reducing processing times & costly reworks. It has the added advantage of not loading on aluminium or soft metals.
